We begin the day with Noon Mass in the Our Lady of the Blesses Sacrament chapel at the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Marytown. Then join us as we explore the unique role of Our Blessed Mother in salvation history. Guest speakers include: Mr. Tim Glemkowski, experienced Catholic speaker and founder and president of L’Alto Catholic Institute, a not-for-profit apostolate dedicated to evangelization in the spirit of St. Maximilian Kolbe; Fr. Cliff Ermatinger, Spiritual Consultant for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and noted author and speaker on Spirituality.
Following the conference, we will present the 2018 St. Maximilian Kolbe Award to Bishop Thomas Parocki, of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois. A reception follows.
The Kolbe Award is given in recognition of those who mirror St. Maximilian Kolbe’s charisms of heroic charity and self-sacrifice. This year it is fitting that we recognize Bishop Thomas John Paprocki. As a diocesan priest and throughout his episcopate, Bishop Paprocki has heralded his devotion to Our Lady. His evangelization, faithfulness to the Church and service to God’s people mirror those of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
CONGRATULATIONS BISHOP PAPROCKI
